Artist's Comments

There's a story to this about childhood friends separated by a long war and held together by steadfast and wry letters, about people who are brought closer by distance. But what it boils down to is this: friends = air support.

THAT IS ALL.

Edit:// Actually that is not all, after all. [link]

Now the strange mind-reading qualities of this piece, (in that I had recently (several seconds ago) sent an email ending in "good luck" in a language I'm sure to get asked about) aside, this piece is still awesome.

I love your color choices. Always, always, always. You are my color choice hero, and I love how this piece narrows it down to this certain set of shades (i.e. red, blue, and some green), so that you don't get too distracted, and are instead entranced by the adorableness of it.

The movement of figure and rope through the picture has a very nice and consistent quality to it, that guides your eye very nicely. The characters and premise look adorable too. So all around good job (as always.)

:) It's awesome.

Everyone goes through life so quickly. Take the time to look at the things we rush past every day, and you'll find a little wonder in its own.

Friends near and far. They are your life support systems.

I love this picture, a great message and a wonderful picture, it's very vintage feeling. :D

Sorry I had to say it... xD

When I saw this I like exploded inside and then had to reassemble myself. The composition is playful and flows so beautifully and it conveys the childish aspects perfectly and the colors are so vivid and just brilliant contrast...NOT TO MENTION THE MEANING MAKES ME GO: D'AWWWW

JUST OUT OF CURIOSITY: I have been staring at the flowers trying to figure out what medium you did them in...so I must ask? WHAT DID YOU USE ON THIS?
:iconblueludebar:
Haha what! What a weird coincidence. (And now I have to ask. What language was it? :"D)

!! Thank you so much, aw. I was actually challenging myself not to use a lot of yellow. xD This is actually one of the few times I stuck to a strict color scheme in mind while working, so it's great to hear it turned out right.

There's something about big loopy cursive that's somehow endearing, haha. So glad you like it! Thank youuu.

HAHA NO IT'S OKAY. I was so tempted to put that in the title or description, you have no idea. I'm glad someone thought of it. :"D

Baahhhh I might just have to explode inside too now. Just. All of that is exactly what I hoped for. Thanks so much, you!
